About the sketch :-
In this amazing sketch, I draw the Mumbai name alphabet in unique forms.
Making it attractive by using my own designs, futuristic skycrappers, ideas as well as my creativity.
Also given colouring to this alphabets with simple format.
But also various other detailing work also done by me.
I shown the following things in my sketch :-
1). Gateway of India :-
The foundation stone of Gateway of India was laid in March 1913 to built in the Indo-Saracenic style.
In 1914 the final design of the monument by architect George Wittet was sanctioned.
The construction completed on 1924.
It used as a symbolic ceremonial entrance to British India for important colonial personnel after it’s construction.
It was a symbol of “conquest as well as the colonisation” commemorating British colonial legacy.
The gateway was located on the waterfront at an angle, opposite the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel .
Which overlooks the Arabian Sea.
This was the most famous tourist spot in Mumbai as well as in India & all over the world.
Everyday thousands of visitors from all over the world visit to Mumbai as well as this amazing structre…
2). Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus :-
They also called as the “Victoria Terminus “
From 1878 it’s construction was started in a location south of the old Bori Bunder railway station.
And it was completed in 1887.
This terminuswas the headquarters of Central Railway, India.
It is one of the busiest railway stations in India, serving as a terminal for both long-distance- and suburban trains.
3). Mumbai’s Lifeline (Local Train) :-
In Mumbai, nearly about 21 million people travelling everyday from this local trains, considers the local trains as its lifeline.
There are only few percent of people who not traveled from these local train.
While most of Mumbaikar’s grumble as well as crib about the train services.
Every Mumbaikar appreciates how impossible life would be without this trains.
Today, the total length of the rail lines that form the local network was over 400 K.m with tracks running north-south as well as the east-west which expanding suburbs of the city.
In the world, Mumbai’s local rail network is one of the largest as well as the busiest commuter train system in the world.
Which operating over 2300 train services every singleday for over 7.5 million people commuting on daily basis.
4).Mumbai’s Ganesh Utsav :-
The Ganesh utsav was also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi in India.
In Ganesh utsav festival, the installation of Ganesh clay idols privately in homes as well as publicly on elaborate pandals .
During this festivals devotees do the chanting of Vedic hymns as well as the Hindu texts such as, prayers and brata .
The festival ends on the 10th day after start.
The bappa statue was take in a public procession with music as well as the group chanting.
Then immersed in a nearby body of water such as a river or sea.
About 150,000 statues immersed annually in only Mumbai region…
The clay statues start dissolving after few time.
Lord Ganesh was well-known as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the god of wisdom and intelligence.
5).Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai :-
For 2011 Cricket World Cup. ,the renovation is done & due to this stadium now having a capacity of 33,108.
The capacity was approximately 45,000 before the upgradation work.
Many great high-profile cricket matches in the past has been hosted by this stadium.
The stadium witnessed the last match of Sachin Tendulkar’s international career.
There are also very famous tourist attractive places in Mumbai..
